Template licence
What you may and may not do with a Collabas template you have bought on this website.
Last updated
This licence is granted by Collabas (“we”) to the person or organisation that buys a template on this website (“you”). It is version 2026-10-09, and you accept it by ticking the box provided at checkout. The purchase itself is governed by our terms of sale.
It does not cover templates bought on the Webflow Marketplace, which are licensed under the terms Webflow presents with the purchase.
In short
- One purchase lets you build one website.
- That website can be your own, or one you build for a single client.
- You can change the template as much as you like.
- You cannot resell, share or give away the template itself, changed or not.
The sections below say the same thing precisely, and they are what applies.
What you may do
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide and perpetual licence to use the template to create one end product: a single website, published on a single domain, together with the staging and preview copies needed to build it. You may:
- modify the template in any way — its layout, styles, content, interactions and CMS structure;
- build the end product for yourself, or for one client, and transfer that finished website to that client;
- use the end product commercially, for as long as you like.
To build a second website, buy a second licence. A website rebuilt for a different business, or published under a different domain for a different purpose, is a second website.
What you may not do
- sell, sublicense, share, give away or otherwise redistribute the template, or any modified version of it, as a template, theme, starter kit, cloneable project or similar product;
- make the template available for others to copy — for example by publishing it as a cloneable Webflow project or in a shared library;
- extract parts of the template, such as sections, components or styles, to use outside the end product;
- use the template to create a product that competes with it;
- claim that you designed the template.
Material from third parties
Fonts, icons, images and other material included in a template that come from third parties remain subject to their own licences. Placeholder imagery used to show what the template looks like with content may not be licensed for use on your finished website: replace it with your own before you publish, unless the template’s documentation says the material is cleared for that use.
Ownership
The template, its design and its code remain ours. This licence gives you the right to use them as described above; it does not transfer ownership of them. The content you add to your website remains yours.
When the licence ends
The licence ends automatically if you breach it, or if your purchase is refunded in full or the payment is reversed through a dispute. When it ends, you must stop using the template and take down any website built from it.
Warranty and responsibility
We supply the template as described on its page, and the guarantees set out in our terms of sale apply to it. What you build with it, and what you publish, is your responsibility.
Governing law
This licence is governed by French law. If you buy as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
